The Basque Coast: an epic adventure awaits!
Retrace the footsteps of Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister, and Daenerys Targaryen by visiting the magnificent filming sites of “Game of Thrones Season 7” on this Basque Coast Tour.
Because “winter is here”, of course, we will return to Dragonstone like Daenerys does in Season 7 by heading westward from San Sebastian to the spectacular islet of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe in the Bay of Biscay, our first stop on our “Game of Thrones” inspired route. We will follow the steps of Jon Snow and Daenerys and hike the 241 steps of the striking winding stone footbridge from Season 7 that connects the mainland to the islet to reach the magnificent hermitage of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe.
Later, we will continue our route towards the shores of Westeros, better known in real life as “The Flysch” of Zumaia. There, we will descend to the famous rocky beach that is the entry point into Dragonstone Castle, where John Snow first meets The Mother of Dragons, and contemplate its dramatic jagged cliffs and wild beach.
