Take a short break from all the eating and drinking in San Sebastian, and enjoy a morning of moderate hiking along a small section of The Camino, between the two Gipuzkoan localities of San Sebastian and Pasajes, allegedly one of the more spectacular sections of the Northern Route of the Camino de Santiago.
By the hand of a local and never losing sight of the sea, you will hike along the path of Mount Ulia, where you will admire the watchtowers that were used by Basque whalers, ancient aqueducts, and the imposing Silver Lighthouse (Faro de la Plata). After reaching Pasajes San Pedro, we will cross over the bay of Pasaia by boat to the beautiful district of Pasajes San Juan.
Here, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful seafood lunch, if desired, in one of the top seafood restaurants of Pasajes. After lunch, we will head back to San Sebastian by public transportation.
